Tourist Attraction in Vitória: Museu de Arte do Espírito Santo
The Museum of Art of the Holy Spirit Dionísio Del Santo is a museum located in Vitória, Espírito Santo, inaugurated on December 18, 1998. The museum occupies a building, designed by the Czech architect Joseph Pitilick, completed in 1925, which "Improvement Services" and also received the Official Gazette, sectors of the Administration and Human Resources Secretariat and the Treasury Department. The Espirito Santo Art Museum can host national and international exhibitions, has five rooms and hall, on two floors. It also has a library with about 3 thousand titles in various themes. In order to optimize available space and adapt it to accessibility standards, a renovation was started at the Espírito Santo Art Museum Dionísio Del Santo (MAES) on September 19, 2016. In the project, it was intended to expand exhibition area for greater flexibility of the space and also create areas aimed at the coexistence of visitors. In addition to adequate furniture to accommodate the entire collection, the renovation was planned to suit people with special needs, such as adequate signage, restrooms and elevators. The opening of windows from the museum to the center of the city was also thought to provide a better interaction of the public with the actions that took place within MAES.
