Tourist Attraction in Curitiba: Teatro Ópera de Arame
Its name derives from the constructive style, made of steel tubes and metal structures, covered with transparent polycarbonate plates, reminding the fragility of a wire construction. In a circular way, the building is almost entirely surrounded by an artificial lake, so that access to the auditorium is done by a footbridge over the water. The project is by the architect Domingos Bongestabs. In the vicinity of the opera is the Pedreira Paulo Leminski, opened in 1990. Together, they form the Parque das Pedreiras.
