Tourist Attraction in Barcelona:
Font Màgica de Montjuïc
The Font màgica de Montjuïc is a fountain located in the Plaça d'Espanya of Barcelona. It was built on the occasion of the Universal Exhibition of 1929 by Carles Buïgas in the same place where the Four Columns of Josep Puig i Cadafalch stood, demolished in 1928 by Primo de Rivera. The fountain is elliptical in shape and has about thirty water features, each of which has a particular color based on a combination of the five colors used: yellow, blue, green, red and white. The fountain was built by Westinghouse industry technicians, while the music accompanying the games was incorporated only in the 1980s. Text processing: Giovambattista Spagnuolo (Myooni)
